Communigate Pro is a Unified Internet Communication Server. Usually you get in touch with Communigate Pro when you book your own domain including eMail accounts at some web hosters.

Communigate Pro 5.4

WebDAV based protocols were completely reimplemented in CGP 5.4.

CalDAV-Sync

Automatic Setup

  • Server: <your.server.name>:<port>
  • use SSL: leave ticked
  • Username: <your.email@address>
  • Password: <your password>
  • <your.server.name>:<port> is the same address you use for webmail
  • Note that <your.email@address> must be you full email including the domain!

CardDAV-Sync

Automatic Setup works exactly the same like for CalDAV.

Communigate Pro 5.3

CalDAV-Sync

There is only limited CalDAV support available in CGP 5.3.

  • Automatic configuration does't work
  • Automatic calender list retrieval only works with woraround
  • Two-Way sync works

Manual Setup of one calendar

  • Server URL: <your.server.name>:<port>/CalDAV/<calender_name>
  • Use SSL: check
  • Username: <your.email@address>
  • Password: <your password>
  • <your.server.name>:<port> is the same address you use for webmail
  • You may use $Calendar$ as <calender_name> which means using the default calender, whatever name you have given it.
  • Note that <your.email@address> must be you full email including the domain!

Manual Setup with calendar list retrieval

  • retrieving all available calendars via https://<your.server.name>:<port>/CalDAV doesn't work
  • as Workaround you can use the foreign mailbox access method:
  • Server URL: <your.server.name>:<port>/CalDAV/~<username>
  • <username> is the part of the email address before the @ sign. It's the name used to logon in the webmail client.

CardDAV-Sync

Versions before CGP 5.4 doesn't support CardDAV.
