iCloud is the successor of MobileMe.

Setup

CalDAV-Sync

  • Server: icloud
  • Use SSL: leave ticked
  • Username: your Apple ID
  • Password: your password

alternatively open this link in the browser of your Android device.

Please be aware that iCloud doesn't expose the birthday calendar via CalDAV. This app can sync only calendars you can see on icloud.com. To sync the birthday calendar use CardDAV-Sync to sync your contacts and then use an app like "Birthday adapter" to get the birthdays into your calendar (if your device can't do that on its own).

CardDAV-Sync

Support for iCloud CardDAV has been added in version 0.3-rc1

  • Server: icloud
  • Use SSL: leave ticked
  • Username: your Apple ID
  • Password: your password

alternatively open this link in the browser of your Android device.

Two Step verification

See Two-Step Authentication for iCloud.

Troubleshooting

Authentication Error

If you have Two Step Authentication enabled, please see above.

Please make sure you have an iCloud account. If the account doesn't exist, the iCloud server responds with the very same message as if the password were wrong. Our app has no chance to tell those two cases apart. Having an Apple ID does not necessarily mean having an iCloud account. You can check this by logging in at www.icloud.com. If you can't login or there's no calendar shown, you don't have an iCloud account. In order get one, you need to enable iCloud synchronization on an Apple device. Unfortunately, we can't do that, only apple devices can.
